Emergency Drinking Water Germicidal Tablets and Neutralizer are intended for emergency disinfection of drinking water. When used as directed, they make most water bacteriologically suitable for drinking. Not to be used on a continuous basis. For short term or limited emergency use only. Treats up to 25 quarts.

Coghlan's Drinking Water Treatment pills are an United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered product and are labeled for use as a water purification product. This product is not to be used for radiation exposure or any other use that is inconsistent with the advertised label directions. Failure to do so is illegal under Federal Law.
STORAGE & DISPOSAL: Store in a cool dry place. If empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: HAZARD TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
Warning: Avoid eye contact. Will cause severe irritation to eyes and mucous membranes. Harmful if swallowed. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco.
If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have a person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.

DIRECTIONS: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Step 1: Add 2 tablets to 1 quart or liter of water and cap loosely to allow a small amount of leakage. Wait 5 minutes. Shake container to allow screw threads on the closure to be moistened, then tighten cap. Wait 30 minutes before drinking.
Step 2: Neutralizing tablets are for use AFTER water has been treated with Emergency Germicidal Drinking Water Tablets. Wait a minimum of 30 minutes after the addition of Drinking Water Tablets before using the neutralizer tablets. Adding the neutralizer tablets before 30 minutes may allow harmful bacteria to remain in the drinking water. DO NOT ADD EMERGENCY GERMICIDAL DRINKING WATER TABLETS AND NEUTRALIZER TABLETS AT THE SAME TIME. Add 2 neutralizer tablets per quart of water. Shake container well. Wait 3 minutes before drinking. Tablets do not have to completely dissolve to be effective. RECAP BOTTLES TIGHTLY. KEEP TABLETS DRY.
Shelf life:
Unopened - 4 years from manufacture date.
Opened - 1 year from date of opening, or if they start to dis-color.
Lot #: the first number of 5 digit or the first two numbers of a 6 digit lot number is the month of tablet manufactured.
The next 2 numbers correspond to the year the tablets were manufactured. The last two digits are chronological company numbers.
(Ie: lot 69014 - was manufactured the 6th month of 1990)
RETURN POLICY
We gladly accept most unused and unopened merchandise for a full refund within 30 days of purchase (see exceptions below). Simply return the complete product to us in its clean original packaging, accompanied with the original proof of purchase or receipt. Note that the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Unused items with open boxes within 30 days of purchase will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. These items must be returned in the original packaging with all accessories.
Please note:
Special-order merchandise is not returnable. Non-refundable items also include: Used toilets, cleaning or clothing products, hammocks, Coghlans, Aquatabs, and other items as specified Batteries of any kind are not returnable. This includes but is not limited to all flooded acid, sealed/AGM, or LiFePO4 batteries. There are no exceptions*
*It is not possible to measure or guarantee with certainty that a battery has been unused once it has left our warehouse. Accepting a battery return and then reselling to other customers with the presumption of it being unused is not a practice we follow.
WARRANTY
All merchandise is subject to the manufactures warranty and will be repaired or replaced as per the manufactures directions. The Cabin Depot™ is a retail business and we do not employ installers. However, we are very happy to assist customers having issues with any products purchased by reaching out to the manufacturer on the customers behalf if needed to help expedite the troubleshooting or warranty process.
